I mistakenly called him a ‘tween and he advised me that was for girls and that he is a pre-teen. Grandmas have a lot to learn.
Well, this year, I have decided that all Grand kids will receive Interactive Gifts from Grandpa and I and no more couch potato birthday gifts like video games and movies. Okay, maybe some. But they will be mixed with interactive gifts!
We treated Chase, Sherrie, Quinn and some of Chase’s friends to a trip to the Danville Science Center in Virginia. They got to experience space travel and being a butterfly (okay, that was really for Quinn) to name a few. Chase said they all had a blast. So, I guess this means the first interactive birthday was a success!
