We will soon be moving, and I figured since we are going back to apartment living for the first time in 35 years, it may as well be something unique. And it is!! Northern Virginia (also known as the DC Metro area) is spattered with little “town centers” – all with their own personality. The Village at Leesburg really caught my eye with the size of the community (small) and lots of amenities; not the least of being walking distance to all kinds of shopping. In fact, we chose an apartment on the top (3rd) floor of the only 100% smoke free building of residential over retain. I am sure there will be holiday activities as all of the town center have had in the past, and it will just be a colorful setting watching the shoppers and activities. Looking forward to the move in a couple of months, and as soon as we move, I will be sending out change of address cards. Until then, I have posted a few photos for your visual enjoyment!
